-deconstructed cotton/misc fabrics from the wasteshed
(lots of tulles, elegant nettings, and laces)
all materials are deconstructed by hand then reconstructed into the artwork shown here. the spokes of the bike rim are removed by hand. all the fabrics are ripped/cut by hand. in-house.

the cable wrapping the edge shows signs of distress.
these elements add a feeling of longevity.
a fabric strip has been securely attached to the back of the original art work as hanging hardware.
