Dear Reader,
I'm feeling calmed by an acceptance of ecstatic chaos.
Chaotic Ecstasy, if you prefer.
Calmed by the Faraday Effect
Calmed by inevitable homeostasis
the natural friction
that's necessary
through polarization
Calmed by a thought that there's a version of America that is chicken scratching to
unsustainably maintain
a version that will
tip
when the knees of the big Corporate Machine
buckle
as the economy of this country
begins to transform
into
something else.
Calmed by the idea that without the presence of a global economy
it'll reinstate the need for local ones.
Thereby causing a shift in focus
to something that sounds
vaguely
familiar
almost like
what we claim to be chicken scratching for-
'the way things used to be'
with shifting our focus to creating integrated communities
promoting and sustaining
collectively
We're moving into uncertain waters, dear Reader.
The sooner we see it,
accept it,
and say it,
the sooner we can start to become useful
within a changing world.
So-
toolboxearth is puttin its money where its interwoven mouth is
by getting offline
by asking
'if I wanted to do this 100 years ago,
how would I?'
and supporting a local economy of neighbors.
Relying on you, dear Reader, to pick up what strikes you.
toolboxearth is fueled by mischievous curiosity-
to see if you'll pick it up
to see if voices will carry it
What would happen
if we laid a pair of Anomalies,
next to a pair of Aces?
The online shop will be open for one more week.
Officially closing on Thursday, May 2nd.
New art work will be announced via this blog space,
and will be for sale in-person only.
Just because a game piece is slid,
{in contemplation
in a mulling
chewinitovahfer aminute}
doesn't mean
there's a commitment to make the move.
What it does mean though,
is that grey matter was flexed
and
a space
a pause
a rest
was created
in contemplation.
What would happen
if we confidently
laid a pair of Anomalies,
next to a pair of Aces?
Visualize and manifest.
"This is my wish for you:
comfort on difficult days,
smiles when sadness intrudes,
rainbows to follow the clouds,
laughter to kiss your lips,
sunsets to warm your heart,
hugs when spirit sags,
beauty for your eyes to see,
friendships to brighten your being,
faith so that you can believe,
confidence for when you doubt,
courage to know yourself,
patience to accept the truth,
and
love to complete your life."
Ralph Waldo Emerson
